I need advice from hardcore fans – I am thinking about buying this or something like this for my boyfriend and I want to know … as a gift thumbs up or thumbs down ?

If he is into other board games then I would definitely. However my boyfriend is a hardcore fan of the game and he bought it for himself and never plays it. Make sure he has friends to play it with or whats the point?
If he’s a really big LotR fan, the books more than the movies, then this would probably be a good gift. Personally I like the movies more than the books right now because I haven’t had enough time to read the books in a couple years, while I can watch the movies more often, so I would probably like the new movie-based strategy games more than this one, but like I said, this would be a good gift as long as he is a fan of the books (and board games, of course!).
